David Lowry, DO, FAAP

Dr. Lowry went to Medical School at University of Health Sciences - College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, graduating in 1996. He did his pediatric training at Children’s Mercy Hospital and completed his residency in 1999. Dr. Lowry is a board-certified pediatrician with 26 years of pediatric experience, the last 15 years being in the Platte City area.

Dr. Lowry and his wife Laura, have six children and many "4 legged" children at home. In their free time they enjoy traveling and attending various sporting events (Go Knights Go !)

Jennifer Sample, MD

Dr. Jennifer Sample is a board certified pediatrician and medical toxicologist. She comes to Platte County Pediatrics after practicing in academic medicine for over 20 years. She currently lives in Platte City with her husband and grown children.

Kim – Nurse

Due to her love of children, Kim always knew she wanted to do pediatric nursing, which lead to joining the highly rated LPN program through Hillyard Technical Center in St. Joseph, MO.  She has now been a nurse for 20+ years, working alongside Dr. Lowry. Kim enjoys attending her children’s sporting events and spending time with her family.

Samantha – Access Representative

Samantha has her Bachelors in Healthcare Administration from Purdue University. She loves spending time with her family, friends and 3 dogs.

Seth – Medical Assistant

Seth has been in the medical field since 2003 and has worked with Dr. Lowry since 2013. Seth has a multitude of experience and a way of connecting with patients. In his free time he enjoys playing the piano and teaching music!

Pam-Billing and Accounts Receivable

Pam has been in the medical field since 2001. Pam recieved a degree in Health Information from Missouri Western State University. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband, children and 8 grandkids.
